Role description
We are looking for a Scrum Master to coordinate and coach our software development team to apply the Scrum framework. You’ll help create a self-organizing team that is flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Responsibilities:
- Support our teams in implementing and facilitating a suitable agile framework
- Help your team understand agile values, best practices and help assess tools that will fit their needs
- Coach teams as well as individuals towards self-organization, open feedback culture, and goal-setting
- Facilitate meetings that result in actionable items with working agreements that offers all participants the right space to express their opinions
- Empathize with teams and individuals to understand their behavior within the system and act accordingly to make our department a great place to work
- Foster iterative and incremental product development
- Promote continuous and data-driven learning in our teams
- Collaborate with your Scrum Master colleagues on overall impediments and topics
- Continuously share your knowledge and experience with colleagues through coaching, training, publications
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a Scrum Master role, 4+ years in total in IT field
- Experienced in moderating, coaching, and conflict resolution
- Ability to understand and evaluate team dynamics
- Ability to visualize problems, processes, etc.
- Self-organized and motivated to continuously learn more
- Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
- A plus: Affinity for Software Development Life Cycle, experience in this sector
- A plus: Experience in coaching Product Owner or Developers
- A plus: Experience with KPI-based agile coaching for high-performance teams
- Broad understanding of SW Development and IT businesses;
- Upper-intermediate level in English, German language is a big plus
