N-iX is looking for a JIRA Administrator/Migration Owner to join our team!

What You'll Do:
  • Implement the requests of our colleagues to improve their processes and solve their blockers
  • Advise the colleagues on how to improve our JIRA setup: introduce and use standards to reduce maintenance work (workflows, permissions, custom fields, …); set up flows that fit the needs of the teams (understand the problem they want to solve)
  • Keep our plugins up-to-date, implement security updates etc.
  • Connect Git and JIRA
  • Maintain user groups and project permissions
  • Create concept on how cleverbridge can start working with JIRA on-cloud
  • Streamline existing, historically grown complex setup (projects, custom fields, permissions) to prepare cloud migration (will potentially rather be a fresh new start with standardized setups instead of 1:1 migration)
  • Implement the migration
  • Intense stakeholder management: to understand the needs in the new setup and clean up our setups; to ensure we have no / minor interruptions in the day-to-day work
 
What You'll Need:
  • 2+ years of experience as JIRA Admin
  • Deep understanding and experience with JIRA (Software) Server, and JIRA cloud (Workflow Setup, Permission Management)
  • Be able to provide user trainings
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Nice to Have: can handle the linux machine that our JIRA currently runs on, and have experience with Automation for JIRA or ScriptRunner for JIRA
