As a Senior Back End Engineer you will be:
Building robust and scalable APIs using Python
Designing database structure
Implementing integration with different data sources, data scraping
Building data pipelines
Estimating workload and timing
Conducting code review and following best engineering practices
Writing tests using best approaches and practices
Creating technical documentation
Solving complex engineering problems
Communicating with team members in Ukraine and USA
Proposing process and technical improvements and changes
Technical Stack & expected skillset:
Strong hands-on experience with Python
Flask, API development and integration
Deep knowledge of HTTP protocol and cache-control headers, CSS, XPath
Experience with Scrapy
Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS S3
AWS Cognito, AWS CloudWatch, AWS EKS, ECR, Docker and containerization
GIT, GitHub
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and cloud-based deployments
Would be a plus:
Quart
Selenium, experience of work with crawlers
Amazon EMR or Apache Spark
Knowledge of ML libraries
