Responsibilities:
Creating content creation tools and pipelines within Frostbite, DCC (Maya/Photoshop/etc), Windows
Creating placeholder assets or managing assets in the engine
Migrating content data between perforce branches
Implementing automation pipeline for any manual process we currently have
Artist support – Help with setting up artists environment, debugging technical issues and providing solutions
Profiling scenes or levels and providing guidance to the artists
Requirements:
Proficient scripting/ programming in Python or C#
Knowledge of 2D and 3d packages – Maya and Photoshop
Experience in VCS such as Perforce, Git, etc
Experience with asset optimization challenges and techniques
Experience in a game engine (Unity, Unreal or Frostbite)
Importing and assessing content data in engine
Excellent problem solving skills - being able to debug technical issues
Effective communicator between artists, engineers, and other technical artists
Ability to work asynchronously with time zone differences
Good to have:
Profiling (performance and memory)
Node base programming (Shader graph, Houdini, etc)
Knowledge in shader
