Senior DevOps Engineer (#15527963)

Our team is looking for a strong and talented Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

About the project:
Our Client is an engineering and manufacturing company and listed among the top 150 of Fortune’s Global 500 companies. It focuses on areas of electrification, automation, and digitalization, and provides engineering solutions in automation and control, power, transportation, and medical diagnosis. The work stream itself will be focused on improving the quality and stabilizing the developed system by introducing improvements to the infrastructure and pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Definition and optimization of the approaches to handle infrastructure-related tasks, propose the most optimal solutions to implementing complex flows
• Stabilizing the system by improving and modernizing the existing pipelines
• Migration of legacy pipelines to GitLab
• Migration from older versions of Linux OS to newer ones, considering all the dependencies
• Analysis and maintenance of Docker environments, preparation of Docker files, analysis and update of docker-compose

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in DevOps role (3+ for Middle)
• Strong experience with Docker, docker-compose
• Experience with CI/CD and version control toolset: Jenkins, GitLab, SVN
• Good understanding of networking
• Experience with VMWare would be a plus
• Strong understanding of SDLC
• Scripting - bash
• Upper-intermediate English
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
