About the product:
Our client is a premier specialty food retailer based in the US. And we develop software solutions for their complex system of shops.


  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration with expertise with Microsoft Windows Server;
  • Experience patching Windows servers using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM);
  • Experience in systems vulnerability management and hardening to mitigate Common Vulnerability and Exposures (CVE) using server configuration changes, registry edits, and/or command line changes;
  • Experience with vulnerability management tool (i.e Qualys, Nessus);
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical in a user-friendly language;
  • Enthusiastic and willing to work in a team-oriented, collaborative Agile SCRUM environment;
  • Strong customer-service orientation and a professional demeanor;
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills;

Nice to have:

  • Experience with VMware vSphere / ESXi systems administration is preferred;
  • Experience scripting to automate administration and patching is preferred (PowerShell, bash, etc..).


  • Perform vulnerability research, testing, and remediation on Windows servers to ensure security and compliance for mission-critical Windows servers;
  • Validate that vulnerabilities have been addressed by reviewing and analyzing evidence of remediation and security findings;
  • Apply patches, update configurations, and perform required security changes on Windows servers;
  • Perform monthly and ad hoc patch and vulnerability remediation process to ensure compliance;
  • Monitor ticketing system and vulnerability management system for new vulnerability notifications and systems administration tasks;
  • Perform server administration activities as necessary;
  • Coordinate with Application Developers, Database Administrators, Network Operations Security Center, Computer Support group, Cyber Security group and the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer in order to deploy patches, configurations and perform vulnerability remediation actions;
  • Follow the Change Control Board patching guidance to ensure minimal downtime;
  • Partner with Application Development and Database Administration teams to transform the patch and vulnerability management process.
