N-iX is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Our team of professionals is helping a leading European bank with its infrastructure due to extension. We are looking for a DevOps engineer to be involved in one of several projects related to the improvement of the existing infrastructure, migration to the cloud, and performance/cost optimization.
Responsibilities:
Terraform scripts for the new deployments and configurations
Implementation of metrics monitoring
Scaling improvements
Security improvements (based on external testing)
Preparing documentation
Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience
Solid understanding of AWS cloud (AWS EMR, VPC, AWS EC2)
Experience with Terraform
Experience with any scripting languages
Experience with NoSQL databases
Good communication skills, initiative, self-management
Nice to have:
Experience with chaos testing approach
Experience with Vagrant, Hortonworks
Experience with Hadoop and HBase
