Middle/Senior Game Designer (#266)

As a gamification designer in our team, you will be responsible for forging all aspects of the mobile game and/or gamified apps. You will be responsible for the creation of the core user experience - story, core mechanics and gameplay loops, meta-progression, game economy or balance as well as assisting other departments and team members to achieve the desired quality of the final product. Fluent and effective communication with other team members would be a crucial part of the job. Be prepared to create exciting and engaging gameplay for millions of players!

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in mobile games or app gamification design
• 3+ years of overall experience in the design area
• Experience with the design of game mechanics, core features, and metagame
• Experience with monetization and F2P model
• Advanced knowledge of analytics & KPIs
• Problem-solving mindset
• B2 English (Upper-Intermediate) or higher

Good to have 

• Experience working with products that include gamification features like mastery, evaluation, progress visualization, and knowledge retention
• Experience with balancing and game economy design
• Knowledge and deep love for games and games market in general: PC, consoles and mobile
• Involvement in released games and/or apps of any caliber and/or modding
• Hands-on experience with any modern game engine
• Experience with UX design

Responsibilities

• Creating concept documents and game design documents
• Propose engaging and creative gameplay features that will improve user experience, engagement, and monetization
• (for apps) Design and implement gamification strategies that lead to desired behavior. Own gamified features and support their implementation from the initial stage to release
• Communicate with tech, art, and UI departments to support features production
• Build game economy & iterate it according to project needs
• Maintain design documentation
