We are looking for a Senior BI result-oriented developer who has good knowledge of SQL, Databricks and Synapse.
Our client, is one of Europe's fastest growing mobile companies with over five million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide and operations in eight countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.
Responsibilities:
- Recognize business requirements in the context of BI and create data models to transform the raw data into relevant insights
- Using Power BI, create dashboards and interactive visual reports
- Analyze data and display it in reports
- Create, test, and deploy Power BI scripts, as well as execute efficient deep analysis
- Create charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships
- Monitor and tune BI tools to ensure optimum level of performance, make technological adjustments to current BI systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements for data visualization and reporting
- Provide updates to management and business stakeholders on a timely basis for projects and tasks
Position requirements:
- Strong experience with MS Azure
- Strong experience with MS Power BI
- Strong experience with SQL
- Experience with databricks and synapse integration
- Experience with analyzing and optimizing platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of languages such as Python
- Microsoft Power BI Certification
- Experience in working with repository tools such as BitBucket, GITHub, Docker
