N-iX is actively looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team! Our customer is one of the largest operators of non-franchised collision repair centers and one of the major retail auto glass operators in North America in terms of number of locations and sales. The Company currently operates locations in Canada and in the U.S..

Responsibilities:

  • Taking full responsibility for project execution, including estimating, planning, and customer communications.
  • Managing the development team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Build strong client relationships based on trust, integrity, and a passion for delivery excellence
  • Managing overall communication during project milestones.
  • Collaborating closely with the entire team to achieve project phase goals.
  • Executing changes and performing risk management to ensure project success.
  • Conducting team performance appraisals, providing feedback, and setting performance goals.
  • Collaborating with Team Leads and other team members for project delivery analysis.
  • Overseeing resource planning and staffing, as well as motivating and developing the project team.
  • Establishing efficient processes and driving process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
  • Collaborating with external software vendors to drive out overall milestone schedule
  • Implement scrum/kanban framework and ensure team adheres to practices and principles
  • Develops weekly status reports.  Conducts weekly status meetings with the delivery team, leadership and external software vendors

Requirements: 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.  Proven presentation skills and ability to communicate with project team, as well as senior managers (English is primary language)
  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in IT project management
  • Successful oversight of a minimum of five projects, from inception to final delivery independently.  Successful experience recovering troubled projects and taking corrective action to ensure projects are delivered.
  • Proven track record in managing projects utilizing adaptive (agile) software development life cycles
  • Thorough understanding and expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum & Kanban frameworks.  Maintains active Scrum Master certification 
  • Demonstrated capability in project initiation and establishing essential project processes from scratch
  • Proficiency in managing solution-based/fixed-scope/fixed-price projects
  • Strong knowledge in overseeing cross-cultural, cross-functional, and distributed teams
  • Experience managing a team of at least 20 members
  • Track record in project cost management and proficiency in Atlassian Suite tools (Jira, Confluence)
