Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer (#1971)

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our team and assist in the creation of a Microsoft Power App for internal use. This application will automate workflows for managing shipments of boxes and pallets, and will include functionality for saving and managing images. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, and integration skills, with a strong background in security and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop a Microsoft Power App for internal use, utilizing automated flows for managing shipments and integrating image management functionalities.
• Develop complex applications using both canvas and model-driven approaches within Power Apps.
• Create custom components and optimize application performance.
• Utilize Power Automate to design and implement complex workflows that enhance operational efficiency.
• Integrate Power BI for analytics and reporting, leveraging data to provide actionable insights.
• Utilize Dataverse for effective data management and integration within the application.
• Connect the application to various data sources including SQL, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Use pre-built connectors and develop custom connectors as needed.
• Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Configure security settings and manage permissions. Apply principles of Power Platform environment management to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with business users to understand their requirements and provide training to other developers as needed.
  
  

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Apps development.
• Proven experience in creating complex applications using both canvas and model-driven approaches.
• Expertise in developing custom components and optimizing application performance.
• Proficiency in Power Automate for creating and managing workflows.
• Knowledge of Power BI for analytics integration.
• Experience with Dataverse for data management.
• Experience connecting to various data sources such as SQL, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Ability to use and create custom connectors.
• Understanding of integration with Microsoft 365 applications including SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Experience configuring security and permissions.
• Knowledge of Power Platform environment management principles.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices for Power Apps development.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with business users
• Ability to train and mentor other developers.
