N-iX is looking for a Lead Frontend Engineer to join the team.
About the project:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based frameworks
- Ensure accessibility and usability for a diverse audience of online car market users
- Implement and integrate analytics tools and tag managers to track user interactions.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clean code and high-quality solutions.
- Take ownership of tasks, gathering necessary details to deliver results with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
- 10 years of TypeScript / JavaScript experience
- Foundational understanding of the Web: strong HTML, CSS skills
- Experience in at least one component-based frontend framework: React, Svelte, Vue, Solid, etc.
- Accessibility mindset
- Work experience with Component libraries (ShadCN, RadixUI, MUI, etc.)
- Implementation experience with analytics tools, tag managers (Google Analytics, GTM, Maomo, Plausible, Fathom, etc.)
- Using browser devtools is second nature.
- Huge passion for clean code design and good coding principles
- Excellent English skills
- Excellent and proactive communication skills
- Capability to grab half-baked tickets, get the information needed, and deliver it without much handholding.
