Senior Business Analyst (#3805)

N-iX is looking for a Senior Business Analyst.
Our client is one of Azerbaijan's leading mobile telecommunications providers, holding a 49% market share and serving 5.0 million customers. Together with N-iX, our customer plans to develop a Dealer Management Portal Solution that allows B2B interaction. 

Responsibilities:

• Collect, understand, and convey business requirements for a given project or program;
• Find and communicate pragmatic technical solutions to large and/or complex needs;
• Produce detailed business and functional requirements, and assist in the development of technical requirements, working directly with technology teams;
• Document user stories that enable developers and test teams to efficiently deliver high-quality software to meet business requirements;
• Lead Backlog refinement;
• Coordinate business SMEs in a user acceptance testing (UAT) capacity to validate that their requirements have been delivered;
• Support for agile ways of working (daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, planning, sprint reporting, sprint demos;
• Review of delivery requests and defect reports - impact assessment/prioritisation/ communication;
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on producing the workstream roadmap and prioritising the backlog.

The successful candidate should possess the following knowledge: 

• 5+ years of experience as Business Analyst;
• IT and Partner Relationship Management domain experience or experience with CRM; 
• Understanding of business practices;
• Developing documentation (key project deliverables) that has testable, measurable, and precise specifications;
• Facilitating conversations with the business to drive needs and outcomes; 
• Working with third-party vendors, assisting with specifying and managing deliverables;
• Experience managing technical priorities within the backlog;
• Helping define and deliver solutions that meet business objectives; 
• Serving as a facilitator between the business and IT in understanding the business's needs;
• Experience in Agile practices;
• Knowledge of databases - nice to have.
