Middle PHP Engineer (#3939)

Our client is an award-winning global tax services and software provider, and the largest firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes. Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Ryan delivers a fully integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services across multiple jurisdictions. Their expertise spans tax recovery, consulting, advocacy, compliance, and technology services.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code;
• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications;
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and other technical issues;
• Maintain clean, well-structured, and automated codebases.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of commercial experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer;
• Solid expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework;
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design principles;
• Hands-on experience with the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP);
• Experience with YAML and XML documents and files;
• Skilled in working with 3rd party APIs and web services;
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript), HTML, and CSS;
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems;
• Understanding of software development principles and Agile/SCRUM methodologies;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Responsibility, reliability, and a proactive attitude.
