Elixir Engineer (#14390480)

Role description:

We are looking for software engineers with a broad background in technology and programming languages who have professionally developed software with a major programming language for at least 5 years and ideally have already implemented a project of significant size with Elixir and OTP, Ruby on Rails, or JavaScript with Nodejs.
You have worked in environments with distributed services and gained experience with container-based development and software distribution and clustering (e.g. Kubernetes).

With its flexible, cloud-based billing and monetization platform, cleverbridge integrates seamlessly with client systems, simplifies subscription business models, and delivers an optimized online customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Working as part of our new billing development team

• Developing new services with Elixir to build our new architecture
• Close integration in our architecture transformation project to help setting new technology milestones for our future
• Support the architecture team with your hands-on experience, so we can develop and elaborate our new event-driven architecture
• Communicating with internal product owners and stakeholders as well as external providers
• Sharing new ideas and techniques and methodologies

Requirements:

• 5 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with modern software development methodologies
• Minimum 3 programming languages (experience with functional programming a big plus)
• Experience with high-load distributed systems
• Confident level of English for daily communication
• Nice to have:  experience with GraphQL, invoice engines, AWS
