ETL Engineer (ready to work with DataStage)

We are looking for ETL Engineer to join our team. Our customer is Fortune 500 company. As a leading business-to-business organization, more than 3.2 million customers rely on its products in categories such as safety, material handling and metalworking, along with services like inventory management and technical support. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Designing and building data warehouses
  • Designing ETL processes and procedures using tools such as IBM InfoSphere, performing analysis
  • SQL scripting, Unix Scripting tuning and optimization
  • Addressing data quality issues with users
  • Analyzing organizational data requirements
  • Supporting existing jobs
 Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in IT
  • 1+ year of solid hands-on experience in using ETL Tools (SSIS, Talend, Pentaho etc.) but  IBM DataStage is preferable
  • 1+ year skills in database and data warehouse design principles
  • 1+ year of SQL Coding and querying skills
  • 1+ year of experience in testing, debugging skills and troubleshooting support and development issues
  • Expirience with UNIX scripting, FTP and basic network principles
  • Proactive and self-managed to achieve deliverables
  • Demonstrate strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write consistent, clear and accurate documentation
 Nice to have:
  • Understand DataStage clustering architecture and parallel jobs
  • Schedule, compile, and run DataStage jobs efficiently
