Senior QA Engineer

Our client is a company headquartered in London which is an independent software vendor and a globally recognized leading provider of software and services for Business and IT Transformation. The company’s customers are predominantly large, blue chip organizations located across the Americas, EMEA, Australasia and the ASEAN, and span all industry verticals. The company develops, markets and directly sells its enterprise modeling and collaboration platform and solutions for 6 business and IT management practices: Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Analysis, Governance Risk and Compliance, IT Portfolio Management, Project Portfolio Management and ERP Process Management. N-iX provides services to the client in the areas of software development, software quality control and quality assurance, technical support and consultancy professional services to the client’s end customers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Use interpersonal skills to achieve process changes within a Quality team
  • Teamwork at all levels of the project
  • To be good at quickly identifying high level test strategies and problems
  • Create clear and concise Test Cases
  • Design and review Integration tests
  • Maintain existing and write new automation tests
  • Analyze automation test runs 
  • Work on project of high complexity nature
  • Be responsible for quality of assigned projects and products that will be delivered
  • To be clear and conciseness in oral and written communications with all levels within the team in English
  • To be able to communicate major status of performed activities to the QA Lead in a timely manner
  • To be able to engage with customer escalations to meet customer’s satisfaction
Required skills
  • 3+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience
  • Basic knowledge of any OOP (C# preferable) and Automation testing (approaches, when to apply etc)
  • Experience in testing multi-tier web applications
  • Experience in Agile development and Scrum framework
  • Strong understanding of SDLC
  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Good spoken and written upper - intermediate knowledge of English language
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
  • Highly effective communicator and problem solver, ready to work in fact-paced environment 
As a plus
  • Knowledge of TFS is a good asset
  • Knowledge MS SQL
  • Comfortable with MS Office Applications
  • Experience in performance (response, load, etc…) testing
  • Experience in recording test progress and results
  • Basic Experience of Integration Testing
  • Basic Experience with MS SharePoint
