Headquartered in London, our Client is an independent software vendor and a leading global provider of software solutions for Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Analysis and Application Portfolio Management. Core capabilities provided by the Product include an enhanced Microsoft Visio diagramming interface, a powerful central repository for all enterprise architecture or business process models and documentation, and a range of tools for visualization, analysis and decision making.

N-iX is looking to on-board a team of software engineers to augment the client’s office on their products development. Our project is using cutting edge technology, and as such we encourage our Developers stay ahead of current trends and best practices. Ideally we’d like a candidate that reflects this, with a keen interest in the latest frameworks and technologies. The primary focus will be to build robust and scalable back-end for the Product using .Net Core 2 and Azure technologies. The work environment is Agile Scrum, with Scrum teams operating in 2 week sprints. This is an opportunity to be part of a fun, lively development team, with good team spirit and willingness to create good software.

Responsibilities:

  • Use interpersonal skills to achieve process changes within a Quality team
  • Teamwork at all levels of the project
  • To be good at quickly identifying high level test strategies and problems
  • Create clear and concise Test Cases – Investigate product quality in order to make
  • Improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate and communicate with the team on a daily basis
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing
  • Develop and apply testing processes to meet client needs
  • To be clear and conciseness in oral and written communications with all levels within the team in English
  • To be able to communicate major status of performed activities to the Team in the daily stand-up

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance
  • ​Knowledge of software QA methodologies, Exploratory Testing , tools and processes
  • Experience in testing Web or Desktop applications
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases and other test documentation
  • Experience in Agile development and Scrum framework
  • Good spoken and written upper – intermediate knowledge of English language

As a plus:

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps is a good asset
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio
  • Comfortable with MS Office Applications
