We are looking for Lead Java engineer to join our team in Kyiv office.

We’re building the platform which aims towards Buyers and Suppliers (wholesalers).
The goal is to help Buyers with managing inventories, plan and perform orders and reduce the food waste. On the other hand, we have Suppliers who will have the ability to process orders by Buyers and get a chance to reach new potential markets.
We're living in a world where the business goes closely with social questions.
Our product will help both parties manage their businesses and reduce the amount of food waste.

  • Architect, design and implement the product using Java Spring framework
  • Acting as Team leader
  • Being able to come up with suggestions and solutions to potential issues and architectural decisions
  • Product ownership
  • Team mentoring
  • 5+ years of recent hands-on coding and software design
  • Solid knowledge of Java programming language
  • Previous experience working with Spring
  • Previous AWS experience
  • Experience with data auditing (envers)
  • Strong SQL knowledge (preferably PostgreSQL), as well, as concept of migrations
  • Outstanding knowledge of Object Oriented and Component-based design principles
  • Experience in creating and managing docker files and docker-compose configurations
  • Solid understanding and ability to setup full development cycle starting from linting, test coverage, and CI configuration finishing by production delivery, configuration and support
  • Upper-intermediate English level
Would be an advantage:
  • Knowledge of modern browser UI technologies and frameworks (React)
  • Experience with CI/CD
  • Experience in building GraphQL Server (GraphQL-SPQR)
