N-iX is looking for a talented QA Engineer who can become a part of our team and contribute new ideas into product development.

Our client is the leading UK Digital challenger to banks. They’ve spent the past 12 years building banking services that are fast, smart and simple to challenge with the High Street banks.   • Requirements analysis and clarification
  • Development and maintenance of Test Cases
  • Performing different types of testing: functional, compatibility, performance, load, regression, penetration, security
  • Testing web applications
  • API testing
  • Bug reporting and tracking

  • 2+ years of enterprise software product quality assurance experience
  • Experience in web and mobile testing
  • SQL query knowledge for back end data validation
  • Experience in API testing (using Postman)
  • Experience in performance testing (using JMeter)
  • Demonstrable experience of creating test cases 
  • Experience in Agile development and Scrum framework
  • Knowledge of defect Management/tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) 
  • Good spoken and written Upper-Intermediate knowledge of English 
  • ISTQB certification 

Would be a plus:
  • Knowledge of Automation testing (approaches, when to apply etc) 
  • Knowledge of writing automated tests 
  • Basic knowledge of C# or Java
  • Knowledge of payment schemes and processing (e.g. Faster Payments, Swift, Direct Debit, CASS, SEPA)
  • Beneficial financial services experience
