Our client is an e-Learning company that provides accredited and tailored e-Learning solutions for professionals. The company is headquartered in London and sells training online to individuals, teams and organisations across a whole range of industries (worldwide clients includes: Prada, HPE, Value Retail, Alvanon, BMC, CSC, BSI ). The courses can be on a wide variety of subjects, from highly technical topics to soft skills.

The Web Designer/Developer candidate will be able to plan, design, develop, test, analyse and optimize websites and web pages. This will involve research and wireframing using the latest UX best practices, using Adobe design suite to create and present ideas to internal stakeholders, developing the end product with lightweight fully-tested code, and monitoring performance with website analytics software. This position reports to the Head of Online and will require working with other departments including Development and Marketing.

About the Role:

  • You’ll have the opportunity to work on new and existing applications that are of critical importance to the company
  • The majority of the role will require designing and implementing new systems and features as well as modifying existing systems
  • The chosen candidate will report to the Development Manager
  • The chosen candidate will need to hit the ground running


  • Design and build a collection of stand-alone transactional websites
  • Create & optimize custom landing pages for a range of marketing and sales activities
  • Re-design and re-build existing areas of the current Good e-Learning website
  • Assist the development team with UX design, wireframes and mocks
  • Assist the marketing team with the design of custom graphics and content
  • Help to clean-up, optimize and future-proof the existing website codebase
  • Assist the development team with font-end tasks
  • Analyse and present on the existing website with improvements
  • Perform regular testing and present results
  • Assist the marketing team in publishing new website content
  • Passionate about design and the latest UX best practiced
  • A passion for building webpages using reusable, light-weight and tested code
  • Constantly looking for new ways to improve the customer journey


  • 3+ years cumulative experience designing and developing websites with a presentable portfolio
  • BS degree in Web Design/Development or equivalent degree/experience
  • Highly skilled in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Design Suite
  • Working knowledge of Angular and updating Angular to the latest version
  • Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Services
  • Working knowledge of TypeScript
  • Working knowledge of LESS CSS pre-processor
