Our client is a leading global supplier of integrated automated technology, software and services to optimize the supply chain developing a cloud-based Asset Performance Management (APM) system that unites order fulfillment and facility lifecycle management data for actionable intelligence that empowers users to make informed decisions that maximize overall warehouse logistics effectiveness.  

Responsibilities :

  • Integration of all clients` in-house emulation/simulation tools with other in-house and 3rd party software to create a reliable, stable platform for software performance testing
  • Collaborate with Software R&D teams to help design and develop performance tests
  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD practices and scheduled releases pipeline
  • Execute performance, stress and load testing on our products
  • Identifying root causes of performance issues in the product
  • Evaluating and recommending new hardware and software based on performance characteristics
  • Collect all key performance measurements utilizing monitoring tools to present performance characteristics and trends
  • Analyze performance results and identify performance bottlenecks and reliability concerns
  • Database configuration and performance tuning for Oracle and SQL Server

Requirements :

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience related to performance engineering and automation test development
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, PowerShell etc
  • Fluent English communication & outstanding collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving and ownership of complex projects
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Oracle/MS SQL Server database environments
  • Knowledge & experience about system architecture layers/technology stack
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software performance issues
  • Experience using performance monitoring tools such as SolarWinds (Orion and DPA), DynaTrace and Windows Performance Tools

Nice to have:

  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of Java application profiling and analyzing heap and thread dumps.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as MS Azure, AWS, Google cloud etc
  • Familiarity with Artifactory, Gitlab, Maven, Elastic Stack, Jira and Confluence tools an asset
  • Working knowledge of Selenium UI automation, Ansible automation tools
