We are looking for Product Owner with Data Analytics experience. As a proven leader in global commerce, billing and payment solutions, our client is seeking for a Product Owner to join our growing Subscription Reporting and Analytics Team. The ideal candidate is someone who has a demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale and complex projects or products; think strategically to create compelling long-term product road maps; and influence key stakeholders to bring those road maps to reality.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive the innovation, lead the design and promotion of best practices on our centralized, enterprise-ready subscription data warehouse solution
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance our product offering based on client input, competitive analysis, and technology needs
  • Write technical requirements, understand importance of various product features, prioritize development, and coordinate across all interested stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership and actively mentor and coach our team of Data Engineers and Scientists
  • Influence and steer data-driven decision making in a matrixed environment in order to align stakeholders (business teams, technical leaders and senior management)
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the other Product Owners of our Development sub teams

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Math, Statistics, Software Engineering, IT, or Computer Science
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Product Owner or similar role
  • User-centered and iterative data warehouse product development
  • Experience working with Agile Software Development Teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills, which includes the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
  • Demonstrate proficiency in at least four of the following six areas:
    • Data analysis and relational-style query languages
    • A high-level programming language
    • Machine learning and/or statistical modeling
    • Distributed computing
    • Data visualization
    • Understanding of e-commerce and subscription business models

Nice to have:

  • Industry-specific knowledge and experience (e-commerce)
  • Worked on predictive modeling for e-commerce-relevant use cases, such as: forecasting key performance indicators, personalized product recommendation, recommendation engines, fraud detection, predictive marketing
