Client is an international media group in 30 countries and contributes to quality journalism with the main focus on Norway and Sweden. The company has its headquarter in Oslo, Norway and is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange. Schibsted’s present activities are media products such as newspapers, online classifieds, publishing, multimedia and mobile services.
The goal of the project is the development of Web and Mobile Digital Media Apps.
Dedicated Development Team that is working on software product development, UI/UX, app support and software QA & testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing SDLC/PM practices, taking ownership of project outcomes
  • Working on the process quality and deliverables (within defined scope, resources, timeline)
  • Acting as a Proxy PO. Working with Product backlog (creating, maintaining, clarification, prioritization)
  • Monitoring project progress, team performance and satisfaction
  • Risk and opportunities management: identification, analysis, communication, monitoring and control. Creating and planning risk strategies and responses
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, plans and reports
  • Communication: Organizing stakeholder meetings, communication/building customer relations, following up on important actions and decisions from meetings, etc
  • Problem-solving: dealing cross-project issues, root causes identification, applying conflict management techniques, following up to ensure resolution
  • Dealing with internal communication
Skills and Experience:

  • At least from 2 years’ experience in project management
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely across technology and the business teams
  • Good English Communication skills (both written and verbal) is critical.
