To cope with rapidly growing business demands our client is launching its R&D center in Lviv, Ukraine, with us. 
The provision of services by our Client is run on a mix of owned and rented infrastructure across a number of countries. To assist the Cloud Operations Manager with technical leadership across complex large scale infrastructure deployment, implementation, issues & resolution. 

  • Availability of Infrastructure 
  • Monitoring, reporting, graphing and alerting across all infrastructure services 
  • Ensure that Day to Day support and maintenance of these systems is managed within best practice guidelines which includes dealing with escalations as well as communications and stakeholder management
  • Assist with problem management to assist in increased response times, times to restore and availiability of systems
  • Working closely with 3rd party service providers to support external and internal hosted systems  
  • Provide support towards DBA, Application Support and Business Intelligence teams

Position requirements:
Experience across the following areas – mandatory:

Azure cloud platform: 

  • Governance in Azure: Management groups, Subscriptions, Policies, RBAC
  • Networking in Azure: Express route, Virtual networks, subnets, routing 
  • Service Fabric clusters, Virtual Machines, Load Balances and Azure Application Gateway support, deployment, and troubleshooting 
  • Storage accounts, Azure Web App, Azure SQL databases Support, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • ARM templates concepts 
  • Azure Active Directory, Azure AD DS, Azure AD connect, Conditional access policies support.  Understanding security principles in Azure. Secure access to Azure workloads 
  • Understanding cost management in Azure. Ability to provide cost reports and propose cost optimization scenarios  

Active directory and Windows based infrastructure:

  • Active directory in Multiple locations/sites
  • AD DNS, DHCP support 
  • AD PKI 
  • Group Policy 
  • Network Policy server
