About the Client:
Our client, is one of Europe's fastest growing mobile companies with over five million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide and operations in eight countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model. As one of their core services, they provide “Pay As You Go” mobile SIM cards, targeted towards the needs of international communities and migrant workers. To cope with rapidly growing business demands our client is launching its R&D center in Lviv and Kyiv, Ukraine, with us.

Responsibilities:
Project management:

  • Customer software development process management and implementation
  • Being a responsible for the whole direction (development, deployment, support)
  • Directly working with business and CTO
  • Close collaboration with product managers, architects, developers and testers
  • Daily communication with the client on all aspects of delivery
  • Being a responsible for the overall team functioning and performance
  • Client expectations management
     
     

People management:

  • Eliminate any communication related issues between offshore team and the team on-site
  • Be single point of escalations for the team members and for the customer
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
  • Be fully aware of the things that are happening in the team
  • Motivate and lead a team of engineers
     

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT industry
  • 2+ years of proven successful management experience (managing at least 10 people)
  • Excellent customer service skills and understanding of customer's business
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies
  • Being result-oriented, ability to make things done in a highly dynamic and stressful environment
  • Great communication skills and fluent English
  • Being able to identify and manage risks
  • Being a good team player and leader to the team

 
Nice to have:

  • Experience in a Telco Service Provider or Mobile Network Operator environment
