Machine Learning Engineer / ML Ops (#166)

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Poland. 

Our customer is a global e-commerce leader based in California, one of the most popular and successful websites on the Internet. It provides inspiring services by connecting millions of sellers and buyers in more than 190 markets around the world. Within the Core AI unit our client covers a variety of CV areas including Large Scale Visual Search/Detection/Recognition, Fine Grained Classification, Attribute Discovery and Localization, Weakly Supervised Learning, Zero-shot models, Contrasting Learning, Semantic Segmentation, and OCR.

Machine Learning engineer will be placed at the heart of new product experiences to work on leveraging algorithms in order to ensure users security at scale. Co-owning the technical vision of advanced machine learning models and data analytics tools to detect and mitigate fraudulent activities in complex digital ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with CV scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to deploy and maintain ML models in production environments
• Design, build, and optimize scalable ML  pipelines and workflows that automate model training, evaluation, and deployment processes
• Implement best practices for version control, testing, and monitoring of machine learning models and infrastructure
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other issues that impact the reliability and efficiency of machine learning systems
• Ensure the security and compliance of ML systems with internal and external standards and regulations
• Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of ML operations

Requirements:

• Experience in programming languages such as Python, or C++
• Extensive experience with containerization tools such as Docker, and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• A hands-on experience with model optimization techniques such as Torchscript, ONNX, TensorRT, or Triton 
• Familiarity with building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Grafana
• Advanced English written and verbal communication skills (C1/C2)
• Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field

A plus to have:

• Experience in other programming languages (like JAVA, or R)
