We are looking for Lead Fullstack Python Engineer to join our team.

Our client is a technology company focused on developing a digital operating system for the food supply chain. Their eCommerce platform helps food distributors to enhance their customer base, boost their revenue, and streamline their operations. Started by a team that has already released and turned a small experiment into a billion-dollar global application business, they are more excited than ever about building the technology that unlocks the food industry's full potential. This project is an opportunity for you to gain expertise with cutting-edge technologies in a highly skilled team by developing a globally successful food ordering app.

Responsibilities:

• Writing code on the ground floor of a quickly growing startup
• Making decisions on the evolution of product technical architecture
• Creating the standard for what good code looks like, and helping mentor other new hires
• Working closely with product, design, and ops to quickly expand client's product offering
• Getting to know restaurants and suppliers firsthand - and using what you learn to shape the direction of the company

Requirements:

• 5+ years full-time experience building full-stack high-quality, scalable software at a fast-growing startup or tech company
• Strong backend experience. Including architecture concepts and understanding. 
• Deep understanding of internal works of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience in building and operating distributed data processing systems
• Experience with Python (or more languages like JavaScript, C++, or Go)
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior developers is a plus
• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency with a track record of working in English
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong communication and teamwork are essential
• Leadership and mentoring experience

Will be a plus

• Experience with web development and frameworks like React, or Next.js, Vue.js  
• Experience with mobile app development
• Experience developing on AWS infrastructure
