Senior Data Analyst/Scientist (#295)

N-iX is looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst/Scientist who can join our team and contribute new ideas to product development.

Our customer is a leading fashion retailer and retail innovator. As a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist on this project, you will take part in developing solutions for the automatization of supply chain and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare datasets to conduct experiments
• Develop machine learning models and algorithms
• Test models, analyze results, and generate reports
• Propose solutions and strategies

Requirements:

• 4+ year experience with statistical programming languages like Python and R
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Experience in cloud data processing platforms like Azure Databricks and Snowflake
• Knowledge of multivariable calculus and linear algebra
• Applied knowledge of statistical tests and distributions
• Knowledge of ML methods like kNN, Decision Forests, Regression models, Maximum likelihood estimators, or Time series
• Knowledge of algorithm evaluation metrics
• Experience in handling errors and missing values in data
• Experience with data visualization tools like Matplotlib or ggplot
• Good communication, problem-solving and team working skills
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering

A plus to have:

• Experience in designing the data pipelines and engineering infrastructure to deploy ML into production 
• Experience with Java
