N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager with strong BA experience/knowledge to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Taking full responsibility for project execution, including estimations and planning, budgeting, and customer communications;
- Managing several sub-teams of a big and long-term project;
- Establish communication channels with the Client's representatives, and provide regular progress reporting;
- Managing overall communication during Project Phases;
- Working closely with the entire Team on project phases goals;
- Execute the changes and perform risk management;ʼ
- Manage team’s performance appraisals, provide feedback on performance and work on goals;
- Work with Team Leads and other team members on project delivery analysis;
- Resource planning and staffing. Motivating and developing a project team;
- Establishing smooth processes and executing process improvements;
- The assistance of the Delivery Manager in project management;
Requirements:
- Upper-intermediate English written and verbal communication skills
- 4+ years proven experience in IT project management (during last 5 years)
- Successful driving at least two projects hands-on from initiation to final delivery without supervision
- Proven experience in managing projects with predictive (waterfall ) and adaptive (agile) software development life cycle
- Proven experience in project start and establishing of all necessary processes on the project from scratch
- Proven experience in management of solution-based/fixed-scope/fixed price projects
- Proven experience in managing cross-cultural/cross-functional/distributed teams
- Experience in managing at least 20 subordinates on multiple projects or at least 30 subordinates on single project
- Proven experience in project cost management
BA experience is needed, at least part of the below:
- Participation in commercial IT projects for at least 2 years as a system or business analyst
- Understanding of the software life cycle (SDLC)
- Understanding the requirements lifecycle
- Understanding of CI/CD processes
- Experience in project management
Technical knowledge and skills:
- Experience in writing technical, project documentation: BRD, SRS, API SPEC, Admin guides
- Experience in formalization of functional with the requirements of using different techniques
- Functional decomposition, use case and scenarios, user story, state modeling, prototyping, interface analysis
- Experience using uml notation for modeling functional requirements (behavioral diagrams: activity, sequence, state, use case; structural diagrams: component, deployment)
- Understanding of construction principles and experience with relational / non-relational databases (Cassandra DB / Oracle), knowledge of SQL (select / insert / update / delete)
- Understanding and experience with data exchange protocols (REST/JSON/XML/SOAP)
- Requirements lifecycle management (prioritization / approval / support)
Experience with tools
- To fulfill the requirements: Confluence, Jira, GIT, CI/CD tools
- For modeling: Enterprise Architect
- For analysis: soapUI, Postman, IntelliJ IDEA, SQL Developer
