CTO Office at N-iX designs and executes industry-relevant inventions that allow organizations to realize exceptional business value from technology. 
We are looking for a FinTech Product Manager who will be part of the CTO Office and, at the same time, will partially assign to the project for one of the most advanced FinTech companies in the USA. 

 

Our client is an American financial technology company based in San Francisco. It lets users take out microloans at the point of sale with participating vendors and aims to provide a quick, transparent, and more inclusive lending alternative to credit cards. Customers enter their basic information and know within seconds if they're approved. Our Client looks at more than a FICO score, evaluating other things like social media activity to gauge financial responsibility. Lower interest rates and increased transparency make our client appealing, and merchants like that all the lending risks are assumed.

The engineering team is mainly focused on integration with 3rd party providers and clients.In addition, new microservices creation, by moving core functionality from  monolith to new small deployable targets, is also part of team's activities.

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years crafting and delivering world-class platform products in a product management role with a focus on cross-functional and distributed teams, preferably at a financial institution in a reporting function
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing ecosystems and familiarity with fundamental principles
  • Experience with highly complex finance products on American market (i.e. Financial analytics, Finance general ledger, Treasury, tax, accounts receivable, accounts payable & procurement functional domains a plus)
  • Passion for solving data challenges, and enjoys getting into the weeds with stakeholders to understand their pain points at the ground level
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and are comfortable navigating data sets
  • Ability to synthesize both technical and business information and present implementation needs and options expertly
  • Experience developing short, mid and long-term roadmaps to develop features based on business needs
  • Proven solutions leader in at least one full lifecycle of ERP/Finance Systems implementation and/or major enterprise business applications
  • Experience with Looker and Snowflake is preferred
  • Experience with the following systems is a nice-to-have; ERP (NetSuite), Coupa, Anaplan, Salesforce, GSuite, Tableau
  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Finance or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:

  • Define the long-term strategy for financial system data, product ecosystem, and automation
  • Own and execute the roadmap for your products-communicate both the business value and the technical rationale behind your product decisions
  • Participate in the Agile/Scrum process-be a partner to engineering leadership in planning and execution of sprints, epic and story backlog refinement, and related operating mechanisms. You will work closely with a team of engineers and business partners
  • Partner with Finance leadership (particularly accounting, strategic finance and financial systems), engineering, product managers, and other cross-functional business partners to develop and execute impactful product solutions
  • Collaborate with product peers across a technological lender of installment loans for consumers on ensuring our data systems and reporting can support new product launches
  • Maintain laser focus on MVPs, iterative product development, and releasing immediate/tangible value to stakeholders and adjust frequently
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements across the finance organization's business applications and drive solution definition
  • Identify necessary reports, metrics, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of completed projects
