Responsibilities:
- Working closely and pro-actively with the art, design, and tech team to improve workflows and processes
- Help, coach, and lead team of VFX and technical artists among different projects
- Drive the creation of special effects to achieve the best possible look for our games
- Identify pipeline, and workflow & build problems, solve them or work with teams to mitigate the impact on the final product
- Deliver ready-to-use visual effects made in Unreal Engine
- Create all supporting assets that are required to deliver VFX (textures, meshes, 2D animations, etc.)
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry experience on VFX artist position
- Strong VFX portfolio and track record of delivered projects
- Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine as well as knowledge of the particle system and the creation of particles
- In-depth knowledge of setting up lighting & scene optimization
- Good experience with creating and utilizing custom shaders
- Excellent understanding of real-time visual effects, color theory, animation
- Ability to create and lead creation of VFX in realistic and stylized art styles
- Ability to take direction and responsibility for the effort of your team
Good to have:
- Experience with alternative engines (Unity)
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
- Experience in 3D graphic software
- Passion for games
