Together with N-iX, our customer plans to develop a Financial Payment Technology Platform Solution that allows B2C interactions for its impressive customer base, which includes 99.8% of Azerbaijan's population.
Scope of Function:
A Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing billing, customer care, and other related processes in a telecommunications company by gathering requirements, developing solutions, and investigating new business requests. They document requirements for BSS/OSS/IT systems and solutions, facilitate meetings with business stakeholders and technical teams, participate in testing and implementing new features, find solutions to complex business problems related to BSS systems and processes, and prepare documentation and user instructions. The ultimate goal is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of BSS operations while ensuring a clear understanding of requirements and solutions for all stakeholders involved
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize business processes in the BSS area (billing, ordering, provisioning, etc.)
- Investigate new business requests and analyze feasibility and impact on BSS, OSS and IT systems and processes
- Develop requirements for BSS/OSS/İT system functionality
- Prepare business requirements for BSS/OSS/İT solutions within projects
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and technical teams to gather and clarify requirements
- Translate technical language into business language to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solutions
- Translate business language into technical language to ensure clear understanding of requirements by technical teams
- Participate in testing and implementing new features in BSS systems
- Find solutions to complex business problems related to BSS systems and processes
Required Background, Skills and Knowledge:
- At least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications and BSS field
- Knowledge of business process analysis methodologies (BPMN, UML)
- Proficient in SQL and experience working with databases
- Knowledge of BSS system functionality and operation principles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technologies
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Ability to facilitate meetings and clearly communicate technical information to business stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical language into business language and vice versa
- Ability to investigate new business requests and analyze feasibility and impact on BSS systems and processes
- Ability to find solutions to complex technical problems related to BSS systems and processes
- Ability to work in a team and focus on results
- Analytical mindset and ability to find non-standard solutions.
