N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Portfolio Manager to join the team; Portfolio Manager must be located in Cincinnati or be able to relocate there.

Responsibilities:

  • Close cooperation with business stakeholders on the client side (Head of Departments, VPs, etc.); 
  • Identifying and aligning business objectives and expectations with relevant business stakeholders; 
  • Transferring and adjusting those identified objectives and expectations to delivery teams within various programs and projects; 
  • Business representation for outsourcing portfolio of projects on the client side; 
  • Translating created deliverables by teams into business value for the client; 
  • Driving and presenting created business value to business stakeholders; 
  • Enhancing our presence on the client side, showing value, and getting new opportunities;
  • Reporting to business stakeholders value created by the whole portfolio of projects via presentations, reports, etc.;  
  • Creating required processes and communicating them to relevant external and internal stakeholders;
  • Managing program managers and a cross-cutting team of leaders (e.g. product manager, enterprise architect);
  • Ensuring that the portfolio is executed within contractual obligations;
  • Building, developing, and maintaining close customer relationships, proactively addressing customer risks/issues, and continually pursuing open communications to expand the business strategically;
  • Achieving portfolio goals and managing different constraints for the portfolio and its programs.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency (C2) or Advanced (C1) English written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in managing and delivering complex projects across various domains;
  • Prior experience in working with senior-level stakeholders (C-level, Heads of Departments, VPs, etc.);
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align project deliverables with business objectives;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders;
  • Proficiency in creating and presenting reports and presentations to business stakeholders;
  • Ability to translate technical deliverables into business value;
  • Understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks;
  • Familiarity with the industry in which the business operates;
  • Knowledge of business process improvement and strategic planning;
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive teams towards achieving business goals;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
  • Adaptability and flexibility in handling changing market situations and client requirements;
  • Proficiency in using project management tools and software;
  • 4-5 years of proven experience in IT project or program management;
  • Proven experience in managing projects with predictive (waterfall) and adaptive (agile) software development life cycle;
  • Proven experience in project start and establishing all necessary processes from scratch.
