Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a robust data quality framework.
- Perform data quality verifications on different stages of data propagations.
- Setup automation based on data quality rules, processes, and best practices.
- Design and implement automated tests tailored for data validation, ETL processes, data migration, and other data-related workflows.
- Participate in implementing data quality assurance processes.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics.
- Create and maintain documentation for data quality initiatives.
- Investigate and perform root cause analysis of data-related issues, collaborating with relevant teams to determine underlying causes and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, data specifications, and expectations.
- Support team members and provide recommendations.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years of Relevant work experience in data analysis, quality assurance, data governance, or a similar field is highly desirable.
- Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Experience with databases (relational and document-oriented).
- Experience in implementing and maintaining data quality frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python for data quality automation.
- Strong understanding and experience of automation principles and approaches.
- Experience in setup of automation framework and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- Kafka knowledge is a plus
- Experience with AWS stack is a plus
