We seek a Senior Appian Developer to join a banking software development team. This position is open to candidates across multiple locations in Europe. The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining Appian-based software systems to support the core bank business processes.


  • Work with project managers to ensure the timely delivery of software projects;
  • Design and develop Appian applications, including process models, data models, user interfaces, and integrations with external systems;
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Appian’s design and development tools, adhering to best practices and coding standards;
  • Perform unit testing and debugging of Appian applications to ensure high quality and reliability;
  • Collaborate with other developers and software development teams to ensure consistency in development and design.


  • Overall 6+ years of IT experience, out of which 3+ yrs. of Appian experience;
  • Experience in business-critical services;
  • Flexibility to switch between development tasks and production incidents where problem-solving is crucial;
  • Solid understanding of the Appian BPM platform and Appian’s software development methodology;
  • Experience with Appian SAIL, Process Modeler, Rules, Expressions, Documents, Knowledge; Center, Data Management through Complex Data Types XSDs and SQL queries;
  • Expertise in business integrations using REST, SOAP, and SQL;
  • Knowledge of other programming languages and technologies such as Java, SQL, and JavaScript;
  • Good communication skills, with a required English level of B2+;
  • Certified Appian developer.
