We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Automation & Software team in Tampere to support in the development, testing and quality assurance of our software for automatic cargo handling solutions. You will be part of a team of 200+ software & hardware experts located primarily in Tampere, Finland. We are passionate about technology, software, automation and the impact we can have in driving the sustainability agenda together with our parent company, Cargotec.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving the changes in DevOps with the goal of enhancing quality ,productivity and development of our test automation framework development
  • Supporting our local Quality Assurance community with issues related to the test automation framework, CI tools and infrastructure of the test environment
  • Playing a key role in providing expert support in the deployment of our automated solutions, globally and cross functionally

Requirements: 

  • A passion for and several years proven experience in Test Automation, DevOps and
    Virtualization
  • Strong programming/scripting & technical problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
  • Experience in administering Windows- and Linux-based operating systems
  • Professional approach to SW development
  • Open minded attitude to enhance ways of working and to find new technologies
  • The ability to fluently communicate technical details to experts and other relevant stakeholders in English
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solution oriented mindset
  • An interest in seeing how our technology is integrated into providing sustainable port and
  • Terminal operating solutions across the globe.
