N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Technical Writer to join the team;

Our customer is the leading school transportation provider in North America, being the owner of more than half of all yellow school buses in the United States. Every day, the company completes 5 million student journeys, moving more passengers than all US; airlines combined and delivers reliable, quality services for 1,100 school districts;

  • Plan and create technical documentation for platforms developed and APIs in cooperation with Product managers;
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Portfolio in cooperation with Portfolio and Release Managers;
  • Work with the Product and Release managers to understand the how and why behind tools´ features, as well as to document new and changing product features, ensuring documentation accuracy, quality, and usability;
  • Maintain and improve DDLC and knowledge management process to match the needs of stakeholders and business users;
  • Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop, organize and maintain all kinds of user, technical, and process documentation;
  • Organize and manage your work as part of a self-organized team and meet commitments;
  • Get hands-on with our platform & gather content for documentation by various means, including direct interaction and use of platform tools;
  • Perform periodic reviews and analyses of current documentation to make sure documentation is up to date;
  • Contribute to improving our existing documentation and maintaining platform knowledge.


  • Spoken and written advanced English;
  • Strong technical understanding of software, web and mobile technologies;
  • At least 1 year of experience in writing technical documentation for Enterprise clients;
  • Previous experience writing documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to write clear and concise
  • content;
  • Familiarity with and previous experience working in an agile environment, which translates into grasping complex technical concepts and handling complex tasks in a timely manner;
  • Ability to work independently and with others;
  • Extremely organized with strong time-management skills;
  • Attention to detail;
