We are seeking a highly capable strong Technical Lead, who’s ready to grow and partly play the role of Application Architect, to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our technical presence within our key account. As the main objective, you will be responsible for analyzing technical processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving effective solutions to meet our client's needs. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and delivery teams to lead the technical streams, drive readiness of non-functional requirements, identify potential improvements and opportunities.

Our California-based customer is an American global e-commerce leader, one of the most popular and successful websites on the Internet. It provides platform services by connecting millions of sellers and buyers in more than 190 markets around the world. 

As a strong Technical Lead/ Application Architect involved in the Solution Group department, you will be at the forefront of N-iX portfolio expansion, working with multiple work streams and stakeholders.   • Mentor other team members through code reviews, documentation, technical guidance, pair programming, etc.
  • Influences cross-team; develops software; unsupervised.
  • Analyses large codebases with minimal help, identifies areas of improvement, proposes solutions with buy-in from partners, and delivers results. 
  • Drive the design or perform long-term architectural project support acting as a primary technical contact point decision-maker for the development team.
  • Define application design strategies, standards, processes, technologies, and tools in the technical visions.
  • Listens, guides, and debates to help reach a consensus across functional teams; once a decision is made, clearly communicates and backs that decision . 
  • Lead application development teams to implement the product guided by the defined architecture vision.
  • Talk to the business to understand business and technical requirements for the project. Communicate technical constraints and decisions to the business. 
  • Facilitate cooperation of all the stakeholders to define and prioritize architectural drivers for the Application. 
  • Influences improvements to adjacent functional areas. 
  • Elaborate on system quality attributes such as performance, scalability, availability, fault-tolerance, security, deployment, maintainability, and others. 
  • Execute development of the core system areas (Hands-on code development)


  • 8+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Nice to have 2+ experience as an Tech Lead or Architect
  • Hands-on experience with Java
  • Proven experience of building architecture from scratch 
  • Participation as an Tech Lead at least in 2 big projects (longer than 9 months, team 10+)
  • Experience with different clouds – AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with DevOps processes
  • Experience with Infrastructure (Kubernetes, HELM, Terraform)
  • Experience working with messaging brokers
  • Communication & stakeholder management skills
  • English – Upper-Intermediate/Advanced
  • Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods
  • Ability to work through ambiguous situations
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed
  • Ability to work by 7pm/8pm CET as we are working with USA stakeholders. 
  • Applicable for USA visa/Business traveling to USA is nice to have

Desirable Skils:

  • Experience in building scalable microservice-based architecture
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns and implementations

Desirable Professional Certifications:

  • Any architect level cloud certification
  • GCP certification
