Junior .Net Engineer (#1100)

The core application is Miacademy (miacademy.co), one of the most interactive and fastest-growing online learning platforms for children from Kindergarten through 8th grade. We've also just released an exciting addition: MiaPrep (miaprep.com), a version of our product for high schoolers. Our approach is to implement new and innovative ways in which children can learn online. For example, we are currently working with a research team to evaluate the application of an Elo system in education with the purpose of providing the right level of challenging tasks to each member.

Miacademy and MiaPrep offer many sophisticated features to their customers, which, in turn, require advanced approaches to software engineering. Our team includes winners of international programming competitions, accomplished mathematicians, and leading researchers in the area of educational games. Now we are looking for Junior .NET Engineer to join our team. 

Requirements: 

• C#/.NET/.NET Core
• Vue.js (or similar reactive frameworks)
• Good communication skills in a remote-work environment

Nice to have: 

• PostgreSQL
• Docker/Kubernetes
• GitLab, Sentry
• TypeScript
• ORM (e.g., Entity Framework (Core)

Responsibilities: 

• Cooperating with team and stakeholders
• Perform a technical analysis of requirements
• Create new or modify existing website's components and layouts
• Ensures the code quality
• Develop products adopting the best industry practices
• Document technical decisions and specifications
