N-iX is looking for a skillful Senior Business Analyst to join our team.

Our customer is the leading school transportation provider in North America, being the owner of more than a half of all yellow school buses in the United States. Every day, the company completes 5 million student journeys, moving more passengers than all U.S. airlines combined and delivers reliable, quality services for 1,100 school districts.

Responsibilities:
- Creating business requirements, user stories, mockups, functional specifications and technical requirements (incl. flow diagrams, data mappings, examples)
- Participation in discovery phases and workshops with Customer, covering key business and product requirements
- Close collaboration with development team (requirements presentation, backlog grooming, requirements change management, technical solution design together with Tech Lead, etc.);
- Requirements analysis and design definition
- Regular communication with internal (Product, Development, Management teams) and external stakeholders (Customer, Client’s Business Stakeholders)
- Preparing UAT scenarios, validation cases
- User Acceptance Testing
- Conducting Demo for Customer
- Creating documentation (user guides, technical guides, presentations).
- Communicate data findings to business stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably with a focus on data projects
- Extensive experience in gathering and analyzing requirements from business stakeholders, writing User Stories, decomposing work to drive prioritization
- Good knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodologies with an ability to develop and execute data analysis plans
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate complex messages and trade-offs, telling a compelling story
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
- Excellent presentation, and facilitation skills
- Strong problem solver with the ability to drive the team and to push the solution and progress
- Good knowledge of Atlassian Suite (Jira and Confluence)
- Would be a big plus: Experience in transportation and commuting services domains
- Nice to have: USA visa
