N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Program Manager to join the team.

Our customer is the leading school transportation provider in North America, being the owner of more than a half of all yellow school buses in the United States. Every day, the company completes 5 million student journeys, moving more passengers than all U.S. airlines combined and delivers reliable, quality services for 1,100 school districts.

  • Taking full responsibility for driving and managing the Program of different projects, headcount starting from 50 people
  • Achieving program goals and program cost efficiency, as well as other different constraints for the program and projects inside it, managed by subordinates (project managers of different levels)
  • Ensuring that the program is executed within contractual obligations
  • Program Change, Scope, Schedule and Cost Management (not complete list)
  • Ensuring that all relevant information is effectively distributed inside and outside the program and shared with all relevant stakeholders on-time
  • Building, developing, and maintaining close customer relationships, proactively addressing customer risks/issues, and continually pursuing open communications to expand the business strategically
  • Providing leadership to Project Managers and other subordinate staff, fostering a positive team environment, and providing direction in required situations
  • Evaluating, planning and implementing a staffing strategy to meet the program's needs and its components (projects, teams, etc.)
  • Providing all necessary support to subordinates (Project Managers, Team Managers, etc.)
  • Ensuring high-quality program services and deliverables to external and internal customers
  • Identifying and participating in new opportunities for program growth


  • Upper-intermediate English written and verbal communication skills
  • 4+ years of proven experience in IT project management and at least 2 years in IT program/portfolio/delivery management
  • Proven experience in the successful management of solution-based/fixed-scope/fixed-price projects using both agile and traditional project management approaches
  • Proven experience in project start and establishing all necessary processes on the project from scratch
  • Proven experience in managing cross-cultural/cross-functional/distributed teams
  • Experience in managing at least 40 subordinates on multiple projects or at least 50 subordinates on a single project/program
  • Required skills, experience and knowledge of best project/program management practices
  • Business Trips based on Project/Customer/Company needs
