Middle/Senior iOS Engineer (#1469)

We are looking for a Middle/Senior iOS Engineer to join our team

Our customer’s mission is to make it simple for everyone to eat well. Farmer’s Fridge serves healthy, handcrafted meals and snacks from our growing network of 1100+ Smart Fridges (software-enabled vending machines). They are striving to change the food system from the ground up – one Fridge or delivery at a time.

As Mobile (iOS) Engineer, you will work on the Revenue Technologies team to architect and develop the iOS Mobile experiences for our digital ecosystem. Your influence will extend beyond the code that you write by also mentoring the more junior engineers on your team. The result of your work is a positive user experience.

Our software engineers take pride in crafting great software but take even more pride in product ownership, taking ideas from concept to release and beyond. This role will provide you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and solve fascinating problems in our operations. As we have no QA team members, a strongly detail oriented mindset is required to ensure software quality.

Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally to identify issues and potential improvements to our mobile applications
• Release code to production
• Develop and extend iOS platform
• Deliver quality software using agile and iterative development
• Help teammates by performing code reviews
• Help out menu development team by tasting new recipes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in mobile application. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in both UIKit and SwiftUI
• Experience building apps with an GraphQL/RESTFul API backend
• Experience with SwiftUI required
• Experience with UIKit is a plus
• Experience with declarative UI development
• Experience collaborating with business leaders and engineers to understand and define projects.
• Desire to solve complex problems elegantly and efficiently
• Proven ability to work independently and learn new skills quickly and continuous desire
  to improve
• Clear and effective communicator
• Well spoken and written knowledge of English language (Upper-Intermediate minimum)
