N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled and motivated Senior Technical Writer to join the team.

Our client:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and create technical documentation for our e-commerce platform and APIs in  cooperation with product managers 
  • Work closely with product owners to understand the how and why behind tools´  features 
  • Work with software development teams to document new and changing product  features and offering, ensuring documentation accuracy, quality, and usability
  • Organize and manage your work as part of a self-organized team and meet  commitments 
  • Work with other technical writers on information design & architecture, user  experience, and process enhancements 
  • Get hands-on with our platform & gather content for documentation by various  means, including direct interaction and use of platform tools 
  • Manage publication of documentation websites via documentation solutions like  MadCap Flare, Readme.io, and Docusaurus 
  • Contribute to improving our existing documentation and maintain platform  knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Spoken and written English at native-speaker level 
  • Strong technical understanding of software, web technologies, and technical  proficiencies in SaaS 
  • At least 5+ years of experience in writing technical publications for software  products, ideally APIs 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to write clear and concise  content 
  • University degree in Technical Communication or equivalent 
  • Knowledge of topic-based authoring, single-source publishing, and structured  writing 
  • Efficiency with modern documentation technology stack including Madcap, static  site generators (Docusaurus), Jira, Git, and a docs-as-code approach 
  • Experience with development concepts and tools (source code management, code  review, and CI/CD) 
  • Familiarity with and previous experience working in an agile environment which  translates in grasping complex technical concepts and handling complex tasks in a timely  manner 
  • Ability to operate under ambiguity and manage your own time 
  • Experience with XML, HTML, and CSS 
  • Precision and attention to detail 
  • Ability to think for yourself and creativity in conveying information most effectively
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Writing Style Guide and the ability to write  consistently in this style
