Hybris application Engineer (#1481)

Our client has implemented one common e-commerce platform for all business units based on SAP Hybris technology. The whole platform is developed in 2 distinct portions: Core functionality that is applied across all or several business units and Specific separate Hybris projects that have different business requirements and that are developed on top of the Core project. We are looking to expand the team to support new functionalities and processes implementation for new Hybris projects on top of the Core project, upgrade of core functionalities, and their further rollout.

If we're talking specifically about this subproject, they are working on a climate control system. This includes examples like air conditioners and their spare parts, heating systems, as well as entire 'home comfort' systems. We are seeking a Hybris engineer with strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities. 


  • Familiarity in the development of SAP Commerce Solution (preferably SAP Commerce Cloud) and worked in at least 1 B2B Hybris implementation or support projects.
  • Suitable experience in defect analysis and resolution
  • Experience with application monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) is a must.
  • Familiarity in programming on Java/JavaEE, Spring 6.x, SpringBoot 3. x
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in IT organization.
  • Familiarity with Web Service Technologies (e.g. OpenAPI 3.0 standard, REST, REST-oDATA, SOAP, jSON)
  • Knowledge of web technologies (CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript) is good to have.
  • Experience working in Agile methodology.
  • Experience building and releasing applications using continuous integration and deployment infrastructure (e.g., Jenkins, IntelliJ, Maven, git (GitLab), Gradle)


  • Supporting existing application (B2B Hybris)
  • Investigating root-cause of problems, resolving them, bug fixing
