N-iX is looking for a passionate, skilled, and motivated Senior/Lead Engineer in Backend Access Technologies to join the team.
To lead the development and architecture of backend solutions focused on access technologies, with a strong emphasis on WiFi and AAA platforms. This role aims to ensure that systems are high-performing, scalable, equipped with advanced CIAM capabilities, and adept at managing large user bases efficiently.
Core Skills:
- Architecture & Development: Expertise in designing and developing backend systems with Java Spring Boot, grounded in WiFi and AAA platform architectures, including Radius and identity management
- Cloud WiFi Access Platform Integration: Proven capability in integrating backend systems with cloud WiFi access platforms (e.g., Ruckus, Meraki), utilizing APIs for management and connectivity.
- CIAM: Significant experience in deploying CIAM solutions for managing customer identities and securing access across platforms. Well-versed in modern authentication protocols and identity standards (e.g., OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML). Demonstrated success in scalable CIAM implementations e.g. experience with Okta Radius integration for seamless identity management and authentication solutions.
- WiFi Authorization Mechanisms: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with WiFi authorization mechanisms, such as Hotspot 2.0 (Passpoint) and 802.1X authentication, are essential for ensuring secure and effortless user access within WiFi networks.
- Networking Protocols & Security: Extensive familiarity with Captive Networks as well as networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP) and a dedication to adhering to security standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in backend development and architecture within the domains of WiFi, AAA, or related access technologies, with a particular focus on CIAM.
- Advanced skills in Java and Spring Boot.
- Demonstrated expertise with cloud WiFi access platform integrations, Radius, identity management solutions, and in executing scalable CIAM strategies.
- Specific experience with CIAM solutions like Okta for Radius integration, showcasing a practical application of identity management and authentication technologies.
- English - upper intermediate and higher.
