Senior Drupal, Node.js Backend Engineer (#1560)

N-iX is looking for a talented Senior Drupal, Node.js backend developer to support our CMS team in maintaining our legacy Drupal CMS (Version 10) and preparing the migration to a new CMS.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Drupal with minor and major updates of modules and the Drupal core
• Implementation of change requests and smaller features
• Migration of custom modules to new or existing microservice services based on NestJS
• Monitoring of Drupal and its components (Datadog)
• Performance optimization of the current Drupal instance

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience in software development
• Firm grasp of Drupal framework (v8 and later) and competent in software design patterns
• Well-versed with agile development processes (Scrum)
• Experience with containerized systems
• Knowledge of GraphQL is a plus
• You have already gained experience in the development of microservices based on Node.js (NestJS) and are familiar with AWS (Lambda, EKS)
• Familiarity with cloud computing on AWS (S3, RDS, Kinesis, etc)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
