We are actively looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer to join our team! Our customer is one of the largest fashion retail companies in Europe that has a reach out on global markets as well.


  • Driving the best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm
  • Understand the technical implications of the product and share needs & dependencies
  • Conform with the team that DoR & DoD are completed correctly
  • Support stakeholders and Product Owners in defining acceptance criteria for User Stories, being able to explain business logic to other team members, and leading the Product Backlog Refinement process if needed
  • Define test cases in BDD language to cover User Stories
  • Provide support to developers with decisions on what kind of tests should be implemented (Integration, E2E) and what kind of data should be created for testing purposes
  • Provide manual tests to validate non-automated tests
  • Implementation together with DEV of strategy for non-functional testing
  • Enable quality control, regression, and smoke testing in line with the product release process
  • Ensure organizational quality standards are followed and understood by all the team members


  • Strong knowledge of API and Web automation testing
  • Strong JS/TypeScript experience. Experience in Cypress Web automation
  • Experience with Cucumber BDD approach
  • Prior working experience using version control tools: Git
  • Experience in relational and non-relational databases
  • Experience with mocking, using TrafficParrot or any other tools
  • Experience with performance testing using JMeter or K6
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices
  • Working experience in an Agile environment, a clear understanding of Agile methodologies mindset, and development practices applicable to them

Would be a plus:

  • Experience with performance testing using JMeter or K6
  • Experience with mocking, using Traffic Parrot or any other tools
  • Experience in Kafka e2e testing
  • Familiarised with the Karate API testing framework
