3D Character Artist (#1780)

We are currently looking for an experienced 3D Artist to work remotely, in-house, or on a freelance basis to deliver great-looking realistic 3D characters for AAA games of different genres.

Responsibilities:
Creation of realistic characters/creatures
Match the required art style of a project
Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process
Work with team lead to create a plan and schedule

Required Skills:
Strong sculpting, modeling and texturing skills
Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept
Strong knowledge of anatomy, color, shape, scale, silhouette, proportion
Good understanding of character topology for animation
Strong knowledge of 3dsMax/Maya/Blender, ZBrush, Photoshop, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag
Ability to create realistic hair with cards
Understanding of technical limitations and art pipelines for the photoreal character creation
Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills
Good organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
Familiarity with the game development cycle

As a plus:
Ability to create and texture a 3D model from an image or description
Knowledge of Unreal engine 4, Unity
Ability to communicate in English
Experience with AAA production pipeline
Passion for games
