Its portfolio includes around 140 companies in the print, sports media, digital media, radio, ticketing, entertainment, and e-commerce sectors and leading online marketplaces for cars, real estate, jobs, and horizontals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with iOS & Android Engineers, and the web team (React, ReactNative), as well as Product Owners, to develop the video player application.
- Partner with product, design, and QA teams to define and implement new ideas and features.
- Write high-quality code and implement comprehensive tests to ensure the longevity and reliability of applications
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Kotlin.
- Strong proficiency in Android UI components.
- Understanding of video player functionalities including captions, VTT (WebVTT), bitrates, ingest profiles, and ad configurations.
- Familiarity with ads integration in video players, such as IMA3 (Interactive Media Ads), SSAI (Server-Side Ad Insertion), CSAI (Client-Side Ad Insertion), etc.
- Experience with unit testing to ensure robust and reliable code.
